Retreats

Holy Trinity Monastery is a semi-contemplative monastery. In keeping with the tradition of monastic hospitality, guest house facilities are offered for retreats. All retreatants, coming either singly or in a group, are expected to participate in the monastic exercises of silence, solitude, simple living, community and personal prayer.

Guest quarters provide a place for prayer and reading.  There is capacity for 49 people in single and double rooms.  Hosted are private retreats, group conferences, group tours, day of reflection and spiritual counseling.  The lounge in Benedict Hall, Fr. Louis Hall (a large hall that will hold up to 150 people) and the gazebos in the plaza are used for sharing and conferences.

An organized schedule is followed for prayers, reading and meals in common.

YOUR STAY OFFERS YOU:

SOLITUDE: In your room, in the chapel and around acres of wooded grounds with lovely ponds, balanced with community prayer and meals.

SPIRITUAL READING
:
Use of radios or TV during the retreats is discouraged. Breakfast and supper are often in silence. Grand Silence is encouraged extending from the conclusion of Compline until after breakfast.
